Accreditation Accreditation is the means of self-regulation and peer review adopted by the educational community. The accrediting process is intended to strengthen and sustain the quality and integrity of higher education by making it worthy of public confidence. Accredited institutions are expected to demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards.
It is for this reason that we are pleased that Sorrento Lingue International Language Academy operates under the authorization of the Italian Ministry of Public Education and is a member of Edu Italia.
The EDUITALIA Association brings together universities and schools based in Italy. It welcomes foreign students and researchers, and collaborates actively with the institutions. Its objective is to promote Italian school and university courses and to boost the number of foreign students taking part in them. The Sorrento Lingue Italian Language Institute is also recognized and accredited by: - University for foreigners of Perugia as Authorised Exam Centre for CELI exam - Certificato di Lingua Italiana. The CELI exam conforms with the European standards set by ALTE - Association of Language Testers in Europe - and by the Council of Europe. - Sweden’s CSN (Swedish National Agency for Higher education) to apply for Swedish students loans for study purposes.
