Accreditation
Accreditation is the means of self-regulation and peer review adopted by the educational community. The accrediting process is intended to strengthen and sustain the quality and integrity of higher education by making it worthy of public confidence. Accredited institutions are expected to demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards.
It is for this reason that we are pleased that Sant'Anna Institute - Sorrento Lingue operates under the authorization of the Italian Ministry of Public Education and is a member of Edu Italia.
SUNY Alfred State College – All of SASL’s academic courses are offered through SUNY Alfred (New York State) which is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Non Alfred State College students can apply to transfer course credits to their home institution by requesting a SUNY Alfred transcript.
Sant'Anna Institute - Sorrento Lingue is also recognized and accredited by:
University for foreigners of Perugia as Authorised Exam Centre for CELI exam - Certificato di Lingua Italiana. The CELI exam conforms with the European standards set by ALTE - Association of Language Testers in Europe - and by the Council of Europe.
University for Foreigners of Siena as an Authorized Exam Center for DITALS (The Certificate for Teachers of Italian as a foreign language).
- Sweden’s CSN (Swedish National Agency for Higher education) to apply for Swedish students loans for study purposes.

The Association of Schools of Italian as a Second Language, with member schools well-represented in the various regions of Italy, is designed to guarantee the quality of instruction and professional level of services offered to students.
NIAF National American Foundation A non-profit, non-partisan educational foundation that promotes Italian American culture and heritage.
