The Sorrento Lingue International Language Institute offers courses in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese for Italians. In addition to the various individual and group courses, Sorrento Lingue also organizes special courses for students interested in the tourist industry, for those looking for work abroad, and offers preparation courses for official examinations such as TOEFL, Trinity College, Cambridge, DELF, Cervantes, Goethe The courses are designed to allow students, professionals and those who are studying just for fun, to develop a thorough command of the language, based on the four main skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. The courses are practical, stimulating and interactive and make use of didactic materials taken not only from text books, but also from newspaper articles, magazines, videos and music so that students will achieve a working competence in the language. The overall objective is communication: students will deal naturally with everyday situations, and develop their ability to interact with foreigners and get their ideas across. As well as traditional educational methods, Sorrento Lingue offers each student the chance to put what he or she has learned into practice on a daily basis, through interaction with students from all over the world. Given the different origins of students studying at Sorrento Lingue, from Italy, the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany …, you will find yourself coming into daily contact with mother tongue speakers. You will also be living in an environment that encourages interaction and conversation, perhaps during a chance meeting in a corridor, or during an organized night out somewhere.
