Dear All,
someone once said "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires" and inspiration is the key word that we'd like to use to start this fantastic year.
The philosophy of our school has always had its roots in the belief that learning is something far beyond letters, it's an experience, something that can change you completely. This is what has pushed us in the last 12 years to perfect our study
abroad & faculty-led programs, this is what makes us who we are.
A real study abroad program is as important for
students as it is for teachers. Studying abroad is living the culture of your host country, savoring it and keeping it with you for life.
At SL you will live as an Italian, you will be part of a great academic family, you will see a different culture in all it's worst and best; because only a true experience will show you both sides of a coin....
We welcome proposals from every department and have already successfully worked with partners of law, engineering, business, art, archaeology and
social studies to name a few.
Furthermore, soon we will have a fully operational University Campus (with dorms) so feel free to get in touch to be the first academic group to join a whole new world at SL!
Finally, we are also leased to announce that there are still a few spaces for our summer and fall 2011 programs. Whether a faculty or student, feel free to
pose us any questions about our resources, facilities and projects. It's never too late to re-think your plans for 2011 and making this a
year to remember...
Wishing you a fruitful and prosperous 2011!

Sincerely,
Cristiana Panicco
