 Message from the Director

 

is a new an exciting year for all of us here at Sorrento Lingue International Language Institute (SL).

We have a record number of confirmed enrollments and I am looking forward to meeting our new students and welcoming back some of our former students who are returning for the 2nd, 3rd and in a some cases, the 4th time! We are also hosting a record number of academic groups and other associations from around the world and we welcome any other interested persons or groups who want to join us in this spectacular part of Italy.

For those of you who are new to our website, Sorrento Lingue is a leader in the provision of international education and language studies to foreigners who wish to study the Italian language abroad and experience the cultural richness for which Italy is renowned.

Located in what has been called the most beautiful part of Italy, students have the opportunity to experience a record number of famous tourist attractions and really appreciate our history and culture. It is also a prime location to practice newly acquired language skills in local shops and with native speakers.

SL boasts a diverse foreign languages department for students wishing to broaden their horizons. Students can learn English, German, Spanish or Japanese as well as the opportunity to participate in our popular Study Abroad Program where students have the opportunity to study their chosen language in the actual country. This year, we want to offer this program to groups who wish to take on this exciting experience.

For our Alumni students who are regular visitors to this website you will notice some great enhancements. You will firstly notice some changes to our overall website. You will also continue to receive our newsletters which will coincide with updates to our website. This year we will provide you with access to various online activities that will enable you to practise your Italian and retain your skills. We will have competitions, new merchandise, as well as the special offers specifically for our former students – so keep an eye out.

ur mission for 2008 remains unchanged and will continue to provide the highest quality language programs possible and continue to focus on the ever-changing needs of our students.

As always, I welcome all your ideas and suggestions and look forward to meeting new faces and touching base with old friends. Have a safe and prosperous year from the entire Sorrento Lingue staff.
