Dear friends of SL,
We are pleased to announce a special competition open to all former students of Sorrento Lingue (University programs included).
To celebrate the culture and the natural beauty of the Sorrento area, we are calling for submissions, to be posted on the Sorrento Lingue Facebook page, one or more photos you took during your study in Sorrento at SL. The competition includes five categories:
Landscapes Streetscapes and architecture
Human Interest
Plants and Animals
Humor - your funniest photograph
Please remember to mention "PHOTO CONTEST" when you post your photos and specify the category for which you want to compete.
The best pictures in each category will be exhibited at the school, and the winner of each category will receive a Sorrento Lingue T-shirt, hat and a Sorrento Lingue mug. We are proud to have Prof Jeffrey Johnston (from Alfred State College) as judge for this competition. Deadline for publication of photos: 2010, October 15th.
Former students not participating in the competition are also invited
to comment on photos posted on facebook.
